Hua Hin

Hua Hin is where Rogier and Tuk live nowadays in his 28 days off the oil rig. Its a quiet holiday town 200km below Bangkok and it is one of the good kite-surf locations in Thailand.

The plan is to go hardcore kiting... (you feel a but coming up)

There is some wind

But it's not enough for kiting:(

I doubt if much kitesurfing will be done by me in the coming period, also Vietnam is not looking good windwise. Happy to be dragging my kites around the globe though, I might use them for bed sheets somewhere *&!^%$#

Instead some serious hanging out is performed

or socializing with other locals... just like home

or recovering from hangovers

This hangover was last nights result of the local pubs exploration. My illusion of a quiet town was rudely put in perspective when two 'falangs' (white folks/foreigners) started fighting over a Thai girl in a bar. One of them (obviously British) broke a beer bottle and planted it in the other guys face.
A police officer who arrived to the scene did not arrest anyone, he only told the molestor to piss off while the bar staff was mopping up the blood. Welcome to the land of smiles.
The massage ladies above were called in by Tuk. They came to our place riding on their motorbikes and got me a cafe Latte along the way. Now that's service!
